Agia Anna is a picturesque settlement, located just 7 kilometers away from Naxos Town (Hora), the capital and harbour of the island. The beach , Agia Anna with the golden sand and the blue water, is divided in two parts by a small harbor where the local fishing boats use it as anchorage.

A unique characteristic of this beach is the cedar trees witch provide shade to the swimmers.

Agia Anna offers all the necessary facilities for tourists and has a lot of different kinds of shops. There is a regular bus service (every 10 minutes) from Agia Anna to the other beaches (Agios Prokopios, Maragas, Plaka) and also to Naxos Town.
